Our community is warm, diverse, and inclusive – a family of faith drawing people from many religious, cultural, and social backgrounds. Whether you are a Belfast native or a visitor, a lifelong Anglican or exploring faith for the first time, you will find a welcome here.
We invite you to experience the peace of prayer, the beauty of holiness in our worship, and the sense of history and holiness that fills St George’s.
Together, we seek to glorify God and share Christ’s love, upholding the Anglican ethos of
“all are welcome” in this sacred place.

In addition to our regular services, we celebrate a number of special services throughout the year, particularly at Advent, Christmas and Easter. Please take a look at our events and calendar pages to find out what's coming up.
Our Parish Choir of men and boys, the Female Voice Choir, and the Chamber Choir uphold a living tradition of sacred music, enriching every service with beauty, reverence, and devotion.
St George’s has a distinguished musical heritage: Edward Bunting, the celebrated Irish musician, served as our first organist in 1817, and today our historic organ continues to inspire worship and performance alike.
Throughout the year, we also host concerts, recitals, and special musical events, welcoming the wider community into our sacred space.
We provide a welcoming home for a vibrant Iranian Christian community, support those on the journey of recovery through hosting 12-step fellowship meetings, and offer practical help to the homeless and vulnerable in Belfast through charitable outreach.
In all that we do, we seek to live out Christ’s call to love and serve our neighbours, offering hope, hospitality, and dignity to all.
We warmly invite you to visit St George’s Parish Church, in the heart of Belfast city centre.
Whether you are joining us for worship, attending a concert, or simply seeking a quiet place for prayer and reflection, you will find a warm welcome beneath these historic arches.
St George’s is open throughout the week for services, private prayer, and events.
We look forward to welcoming you in person.
