Choir recruitment
We are always glad to hear new voices.
Whether you are seven or seventy, an experienced singer or an enthusiastic beginner, we'd love to hear from you.
Choristers (boys & girls, age 7+)
Boys and girls aged seven and upwards are warmly invited to audition for the Parish Choir. Choristers receive a musical training of the highest standard, learn to sing demanding repertoire to a high degree of accuracy, and become part of one of Ireland’s oldest continuous choral traditions. There is no cost to families.
Choral scholarships
A small number of choral scholarships are available each year for advanced student singers (typically university age). Scholars sing in the Parish Choir and work closely with our vocal coach Maeve Falconer.
Adult singers
Adult singers may audition for the gentlemen’s line of the Parish Choir, the SSA Choir, or the Chamber Choir. Auditions are informal and friendly. Some experience of choral singing is welcome but not required.
